Castle-Tech manufacture high-quality
electroplated products (single layer of diamond) from small internals up to 600mm Ø wheels on either steel, aluminium, or
tungsten carbide bodies. Grit sizes range from 500/600 (FEPA D30) to 25/30 (FEPA D711). Plated products are very free cutting and ideal for applications requiring high
stock removal. They are also a very cost effective method of grinding forms into hard materials. Plated wheels have the added
advantage of being able to be stripped and re-plated at a cost typically 30% lower than a new tool. Castle-Tech is able to
strip and re-plate steel, aluminium and carbide bodied wheels. Examples of the Plated products available from Castle-Tech
are: form wheels, saws, files, grinding pins, routers, drills, cones, taper-cup wheels, radius wheels, countersinks and holesaws.
